Proverbs 1:7

God revealed the Proverbs of Solomon to know wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1).  He added that the Proverbs provide the ability to perceive the words of understanding. Notice the spiritual treasures described here: wisdom, discipline and understanding. By the grace of God, He provided the means to live our lives according to wisdom, discipline and understanding. We no longer have to rely upon our human experience of ourselves and others. We can learn from God how to live new spiritual lives pleasing to God.
