Does God Grieve?

Does God grieve? Yahweh grieved when He looked down upon His creation of man. Yahweh saw that the thoughts of man in his heart were evil all the time (Genesis 6:5). ¹God provided: וַיַּ֣רְא יְהוָ֔ה כִּ֥י רַבָּ֛ה רָעַ֥ת הָאָדָ֖ם בָּאָ֑רֶץ וְכָל־יֵ֨צֶר֙ מַחְשְׁבֹ֣ת לִבּ֔וֹ רַ֥ק רַ֖ע כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ (Genesis 6:5). Therefore, God grieved in His heart. God has a full range of emotions and displays them and controls them in perfect harmony with His divine nature. God also has a heart that responds to the heart of man, for good or bad.
